Actin’ Ain’t Easy!
I start teaching a summer program tomorrow. Very exciting. I have been teaching this summer program for about six years. SIX YEARS!!! I cannot think of anything that I have been paid to do that I have done for six years — oh, acting. If you call that getting paid.
Acting is cool. But it’s not something you can just “get into.” Non-actors always say that, “I think I wanna try and get into acting.” Many people do “get into it” but they don’t do it well. It’s like me trying to get into pimping. I have never done it so I probably won’t be very good at it. Actin’ ain’t easy. Women who work for pimps are. And… scene.
